Alien Project “Apologises Unreservedly” For Accidentally Writing Half-Decent Track

The Trance Police were called in last night to the weekend residedence of “Dirty” Ari “Stinker” Linker, better known as Alien Project, after a tune was released that was in the words of legendary UK trance DJ Quentin Ponsonby-Smythe “bangin’.”

The tune was first played by Dutch psy legend DJ Unrlsd, and the crowd went wild. Chaos ensued, and the local hospital confirmed that one punter was overcome with “being impressed” while six more were rushed into the emergency room with “positive vibes.”

The track, which cannot be named for fear of the damage it might cause, was released on a compilation which cannot be named for fear of the damage it might cause, on a label which cannot be named for fear of the damage it might cause. It features a sample from a film and a bassline, while sources confirmed the BPM was “somewhere in between 143 and 145,” declining to comment further.

Alien Project issued a statement last week in which he “apologised unreservedly” for the mistake. “It was not my intention to cause offence or damage. I know people expect me to write music that becomes a soundtrack to their going to the bar, having a piss, or getting out a calculator to work out how much they and their housemates owe for the last quarter’s gas bill. On behalf of everyone concerned, I apologise.”

– once again from the f*cking excellent PsyReviews. Excellent yes, even if he thinks TIP Purple is any good.
